Our label design service helped Hot Scotch bring its spicy sauces to life with new look and feel
With the presentation of a food item initially as important, as the subsequent taste and quality of the goods, having the right jar label is a key ingredient for success. This was certainly the case for retailer Hot Sauce, when it was seeking support for the design of its new jar packaging.
After looking for the best supplier to help, the winning solution came from AA Labels, one of the UK’s leading label and packaging manufacturers, thanks to its packaging design service.
Following an initial call to discuss its requirements, Hot Sauce sent graphics to the design team, who were then able to offer suggestions around design improvements. The final designs were printed on rolls, using a semi-gloss white paper label with a permanent adhesive. Both the wraparound jar label and the lid label with a tamper evident strip incorporated the key brand values outlined in the customer brief.
Hot Scotch is a new business start-up, producing artisan hot sauce from Cople, Bedfordshire, UK. Using five main ingredients to bring heat and flavour to food, its chilies (Capsicum) are usually a mix of ‘mids’ (Scotch Bonnet) and ‘hots’ (Carolina Reapers, Ghost) and other chilies.
Comments Hot Sauce Managing Director Navin Sankersingh: “We had been working on design concepts for a while and after an initial discussion, AA Labels brought a wonderful new look to Hot Scotch. It was so easy to work with the team that we will continue to use AA Labels as our business grows”.
A large part of our business at AA Labels, involves the supply of labels (plain and printed) and packaging, to providers of all kinds of products and businesses of all sizes. From the small entrepreneurial start-up, transitioning from hobby and home production, to a small business, through to multi-site international organisations and every order is treated with the same care and attention to detail.
Which often involves our customer care team assisting with thoughts and ideas regarding packaging and the provision of design services.
Over the years we have seen a lot of initially, small producers, grow to become significant suppliers within their market sectors and without doubt the level of interest and enquiry regarding our in-house design service, has grown significantly as a consequence of the standard of designs produced.
